FightZoneUSA Opens in Signal Hill, CA

Orange County Judo Training Center is pleased to announce that Head Instructor Juan Montenegro and Joshua Resnick will be coaching the judo program at FightZoneUSA in the Signal Hill section of Long Beach, CA.

FightZoneUSA is the United States Headquarters for the renown FightZone Team, and is also associated with the CheckMat BJJ Team. FightZoneUSA is led by Kevin Howell and BJJ Professor Leandro Vieira.

FightZoneUSA offers classes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, No-Gi grappling and Judo.

He added, "Long Beach is a wonderful city, and I believe that we are all dedicated to creating an environment where all our students can fulfill their goals, from beginners to world class athletes.

FightZoneUSA has built a great facility, and I am proud and honored that Kevin Howell and Leandro Vieira have put their trust in Joshua and I to teach a judo program that lives up to the FightZone reputation.

Joshua Resnick is a National Level Judo Coach, and former member of the SJSU Judo Team. He was on the National Roster for more than a decade. He recently moved to Orange County and has been training and teaching with Sensei Juan Montenegro at the Orange County Judo Training Center in Anaheim. 

When asked about his new role as Judo Coach at FightZoneUSA he replied: "I'm really excited to be part of the FightZoneUSA Team. I've known Juan for several years, and he is a fantastic coach. I think we compliment each other very well, and after meeting Kevin and Leandro, I knew that this was the right opportunity for me. FightZoneUSA is close to Cal State Long Beach, and I have a lot of experience working with High School and Collegiate athletes. There are so many premier grappling events happening in Long Beach, and we will work closely with Kevin and Leandro to get our teams ready for all of them.
