Orange County Judo Training Center takes a long term approach to the development of our students.  We focus on teaching the fundamentals and basics of judo to our young students in a proven system that not only develops their martial skills and increases their fitness levels, but also teaches the traits of respect, discipline and self confidence in a fun, yet challenging environment. Classes are in a group environment, but our instructors are attentive to the individual needs of our students in that environment.

Head Instructor Juan Montenegro and Kid’s Instructor Glen Waipa bring more than 50 years of combined teaching experience to the mat at our Anaheim location. Our Irvine location Kid’s Head Instructor is Rustu Yildirim. Sensei Yildirim has his degree in Sports Education, and was a coach in one of the most successful junior programs in his home country of Turkey. His education, competitive record, and coaching skills make him uniquely qualified to instruct at our Irvine facility.

While our instructors take pride in their individual accomplishments, and of our students in competition; they are more proud of their role working with parents to develop strong, healthy, happy, and confident young men and women who become outstanding citizens in our community.
