Costa Mesa, CA–Orange County Judo Training Center athletes won 3 gold medals and 1 silver medal in the Senior Elite divisions of the State Judo Championships. Orange County Judo Training Center athletes were the only local athletes to win gold in the Senior Elite black belt categories.

Kenji Yoshino, Cristian Aguilar, and Rustu Yildirim won the 66kg, 73kg and 100kg divisions respectively. Christina Zamora placed second in the 63kg female division.

Pablo Hernandez placed 2nd in the SHW Novice division, and Alberto Arispe also competed for OCJTC in the novice division.

Orange County Judo Training Center has locations in Anaheim and Costa Mesa. Led by Juan Montenegro, OCJTC students range from beginners to World Class athletes who come to train under the direction of Juan Montenegro and his highly qualified staff of assistant coaches.
